Yiju Chen

Yiju Chen is the Founder of Ponte Media Inc., a consulting company specializes in bridging China and rest of the world in entertainment and technology. Prior to founding Ponte Media Inc., Yiju was the CEO of Seven Stars Entertainment and COO of US Operations of Sun Seven Stars Media Group, a Beijing-based media conglomerate owned by Chinese billionaire Bruno Wu, and his wife, celebrity TV host, Yang Lan. During her tenure at Seven Stars, Yiju oversaw media and entertainment operations and joint ventures, including development of film, TV and animation projects partnering with renowned Hollywood and European producers, and distributed/premiered “Grace of Monaco”, starring Nicole Kidman, in Shanghai Film Festival. Yiju was a co-producer of “Hollywood Adventures”, a Chinese-language feature starring superstars Zhao Wei, Huang Xiaoming and Tong Dawei. The film was produced by Beijing Enlight, Seven Stars Entertainment and Perfect Storm Entertainment, a joint venture between Seven Stars and director Justin Lin.

Prior to Seven Stars, Yiju spent 12 years at Cisco Systems holding various business development, marketing and product management positions, including 2.5 years in Cisco Shanghai. Yiju began her career at a number of technology startups in Silicon Valley. She holds an MBA and BS in Marketing from San Francisco State University.
